Redstone Arsenal - some variety
Redstone Arsenal has mostly Siemens and Durasig traffic lights, but they also have some Peeks (of 12 inch, 8 inch, and combo varieties), A few Crouse-hinds signals of various models, and some McCains. The Durasigs also seem to be slowly getting replaced with Siemens and Peek signals. Redstone Arsenal also uses Durasig and ICC pedestrian signals.
First, we have this Crouse-hinds Type R 8 inch signal in use on Dodd Road. All of the sections on it are upside down.
Next, we have a Crouse-hinds Art-deco beacon on Surveyor Street. Unfortunately, this signal was abandoned in place.
Here we have a Crouse-hinds Art-deco Beacon on Dodd Road. This one was also abandoned in place as well. It still has the original "smiley" lens in it as well.
Next, we have an abandoned Crouse-hinds Type-M double beacon on Mariner Road. It has a huge cob web in the upper light.
At all gates that are used on Redstone Arsenal, they have an automatic barrier come up if some one tries to get into the arsenal without stopping at the check points they have at the gates. Gate 9 is the only one to have Peek 12-12-8 combo signals at it.
McCain PV signals at the intersection of Rideout Road and Goss Road. These are on just outside of Gate 9, but they are still on Redstone Arsenal property.
Here are the emergency signals for the fire station at the intersection of Redstone Road and Patton Road. They are Durasig signals with Siemens beacons that have LED strobes on them.
Just down Redstone Road from the intersection of Redstone Road and Patton Road, there is a Siemens double beacon.
Right across the street from the Siemens double beacon is a Durasig double beacon warning of the fire station that lays ahead.
It operates somewhat oddly as you can see in this video:
Farther down Redstone Road, you have some McCain lane control signals. This is the first set when you are heading east. The rest are set up exactly like this.
Finally, here are some photos of the Durasig pedestrian signals at the intersection of Goss Road and Vincent Drive.
