Madison, not very interesting but some neat stuff.
Madison, AL has mostly Siemens traffic lights with several Safetran and LFE traffic lights. They also have an intersection with 8 inch traffic lights and a couple of McCains. The pedestrian signals are Hand/Man LED pedestrian signals without countdowns. This page will have mostly pictures taken by me with on Google Street View Image.
There are some 8 inch Durasig traffic lights mounted on a diagonal span-wire at the intersection of Mill Road and Church Street. These are the only 8 inch signals in the City of Madison. These are also the only non-beacon 8 inch traffic lights that are closest to Huntsville that are outside of Redstone Arsenal.
At the intersection of Hughes Road, Mill Road, and Portal Lane, there are three McCain doghouse traffic lights with Huntsville-style backgrounds.
This double left-turn doghouse set-up is at the intersection of Intergraph Way and Madison Blvd. The signals were made by Siemens and there is also a couple of Safetran traffic lights here.
These are pictures of traffic lights at various intersections around Madison. This is pretty much what the rest of the traffic lights in Madison are like.
